Our finest wine, inspired by the grand old wines of Jerez.

 

The solera method is a system of perpetually blending wine from successive vintages; our system was founded in 2006 when we began to mature the best of the estate's cherry wines in old French and German barrels.

 

Today we have a 'mother' barrel of 1000 litres, a ‘middle' barrel of 228 litres and a ‘finishing' barrel of only 125 litres.

 

Older wines impart their qualities to the younger wines as they progress through the system; as the years pass, the whole becomes more complex, deep and distinguished.

 

We began to sell our Solera wines in 2010, having produced ninety-eight bottles. All are hand-bottled, numbered and signed.
