PEARS STEWED IN CHERRY WINE WITH VANILLA ICECREAM AND CHERRY SYRUP

100 g of sugar
Peel the pears and cut them in 4-8 pieces each. Boil them in the cherry wine and sugar until they are tender. Remove the pears from the cherry wine. Cook the cherry wine and sugar until the consistency is like syrup. Turn the pears in the syrup. Serve the pears with vanilla ice cream and the rest of the syrup.
